Workshop leaders and students celebrated the culmination of our Through the Lens of Integraton program in which community members took photos highlighting racial integration in our community while learning various aspects of digital photography from local photographers.  By all accounts, the participants said they gained knowledge about their cameras and about photo composition from the workshops.  Most moving were their accounts of the wealth of images they found in our towns that reflect integration.  The Coalition looks forward to posting all their images and to hosting another workshop like this next year!

The exhibit can be viewed at the Baird Center through June 10th. Select photos were also exhibited at the 1978 Arts Center in Maplewood during the Artists Studio Tour.  Photos are available to add to your collection for a minimum tax deductible donation of $25.
